Services to be held for L. Dybvik
Graveside services for Laura Dybvik will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18 at the Freemont Cemetery in Winneshiek County. Lindstrom Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Laura, 85, died Sunday, April 14, 2002 at the Harmony Nursing Home in Harmony, MN where she had been a resident since 1998.
Laura Elizabeth Dybvik was born September 18, 1916 in Freemont Township, Winneshiek County, the daughter of Gust and Petra (Pederson) Anderson.
On February 11, 1936 she married Alvin Julius Dybvik. They resided in Cresco, until moving to a farm in Winneshiek County where they lived for 22 years. In 1979 they retired to Harmony.
Laura liked to read and bake.
She is survived by two daughters: Laurene Rogers of LeRoy, MN and Marlene Dolce of Denver, CO; one son: Allan of Decorah; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one brother: Palmer of Waterloo.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband Alvin on October 31, 2000; one son; four grandchildren; her parents; five brothers; and one sister.
