Funeral services for C. Inez Dahle of Ridgeway were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at Madison Lutheran Church in rural Ridgeway with Rev. Phillip Olson and Rev. Ginny Olson officiating. Interment was in Madison Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ridgeway. Pallbearers were Lance Dahle, Gaylen Hovden, Gary Hove, Gerald Peci-novsky, Kenneth Qualley, and Tom Schott. Fjelstul Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Inez, 100, died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at Cresco Care Center where she had been a resident since October 1991.
Clara Inez Dahle was born February 26, 1902 in Sumner Township, the daughter of John and Anna (Anderson) Albertson. She was baptized at Lincoln Lutheran Church on March 31, 1902 where she confirmed her faith on May 14, 1916. She attended rural school in Sumner.
On January 14, 1925 she married Homer O. Dahle at the Madison Lincoln Parsonage. They farmed in Glenwood, Madison, and Lincoln Townships before moving to Ridgeway in 1963.
She was active in the Madison Church Ladies Aid and Bethany Circle. Her interests were cooking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, embroidery, and playing the piano.
She is survived by one daughter: Irene Schott of Los Alamos, NM; one son: John of Ridgeway; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and one sister: Pearl Soreide of Decorah.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband Homer on December 17, 1974; one grandson; her parents; one brother: Arthur Albertson; and three sisters: Edith Dahle, Geneva Bakken, and Amy Ray.
