Marcia Bullerman, age 62, of Calmar, IA died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Calmar Lutheran Church in Calmar.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Calmar Lutheran Church in Calmar and also after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Marcia Kaye (Linderbaum) Bullerman was born on December 5, 1955 to Edward C. & Marie F. (Ingvalson) Linderbaum in Decorah. Marcia grew up in Ossian and attended South Winneshiek and graduated in 1974. On September 24, 1977, Marcia was united in marriage to Joseph Bullerman. To this union, three sons were born. While raising her sons, Marcia attended Luther College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1992. Marcia then worked for Luther College for over 30 years. Joe and Marcia just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in September. One of Marcia’s greatest joys was spending time with her kids and grandchildren, who she often referred to as her little angels. She always felt so fortunate to have her family live near to her. When Marcia wasn’t shopping for heels, you could often find her on a walk, preferably around town where she would talk to anyone she met along the way. With her strong love of music she enjoyed playing the piano, listening to Classics, and attending many concerts. Marcia also enjoyed planning trips with her friends and family. Marcia volunteered for many organizations within the community and was a member of the Calmar Lutheran Church. Marcia had a positive outlook on life, her generosity and compassion towards others will be forever remembered.

Marcia is survived by her husband: Joseph Bullerman. Three sons: Ryan (Renee) Bullerman of Calmar, IA; Matt (Heather) Bullerman of Calmar, IA and Bob (Alyssa) Bullerman of Ossian, IA. Eight grandchildren: Gavin, Camden, and Landon Bullerman; Isaac and Annalise Bullerman; Vanessa, Joseph, and Hannah Bullerman. Mother: Marie Linderbaum of Ossian, IA. Brother: Terry Linderbaum of Ossian, IA. Sister: Marilyn Bohr of Ossian, IA. Sister-in-law: Vernelle Holthaus, Calmar, IA. Brother-in-law: Ken (Janet) Bullerman, Calmar, IA. Sister-in-law: Judy (Ken) Lansing, Ossian, IA. Brother-in-law: Ron (Norma) Bullerman, Calmar, IA. Brother-in-law: Dan (special friend Lois Myers) Bullerman, Calmar, IA. Sister-in-law: Sue (Tom) Hannasch, Apply Valley, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father Edward Linderbaum. Father and mother-in-law: Leonard and Irma Bullerman. Brothers-in-law: Carl Bohr and Loren Holthaus.
