Former Festina Man Dies in S. Dak.

Henry Thuente, 72, died Sunday morning, June 23, at a hospital in Hoven, S. Dak.

He was born on a farm near Festina October 1, 1873, the son of the late Frank and Catharin Thuente. He married Mathilda Dessel, who preceded him in death several years ago.

Surviving are their four children, Elenor, Sr., M. Axuina, Yankton, S. Dak.; Rudolf on the home farm; Father Walter Adelhard; St. Johns Abbey, Collegeville, Minn., and Raphael of California.

He operated the farm now occupied by eGo.{sic} Vollmecke until 1920 when he moved to Hoven.
