Mrs. Frank Thuente Dies at Festina
Mrs. Frank Thuent{sic}
Mrs. Frank Thuente passed away at her home Monday morning after several days illness at the age of 59. The deceased was the daughter of Bernard and Johanna Ehler.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters Rose and Agnes, and two sons Frank Jr. and Hugo all at home.
A daughter Mrs. Herman Scholbrock, preceded her in death. She also leaves four grand-children, three brothers, Henry Ehler of Dimock, S. Dak., Joseph Ehler of Ossian and Wm. Ehler of Festina.
The deceased was a member of St. Mary’s Church and a member of the Rosary Society. The funeral services were held Wed. morning at 9:30 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church with the Rev. A. J. Rubly officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were: John Bruening, Joseph Holthous, Ed Lensing, A. H. Hageman Jr., Barney Tiesketter, and Joseph Lensing. August Hageman Sr. was crossbearer.
Relatives out of town who attended the funeral were: Rev. Wm. Cremer of Gilbertville, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ehler of Dimock, S. Dak. Mrs. John Therfer, Mrs. Wm. Thuente, and Henry Nordik of Kent, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ehler and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Ehler, L. A. Meyer and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Holthous, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Timp, Mrs. Henry Timp and daughter, Andrew Timp, Mrs. John Bengfort and children, Leo Holthous, of Ossian, John Giesing and sister Christina, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Holtous{?} of Creco,{sic} Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Timp Sr., Mr. nd{sp} Mrs. Joseph Bullerman, Mr. andMrs. Fred Hageman of Calmar. Many friends from the neighboring towns also attended the funeral.
NOTE: Cemetery records indicate her first name was Elizabeth. All spelling errors, etc. are as they appeared in the newspaper.
