Nancy Jo Kluesner, 74, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on July 12, 2015 in her home. She was born on December 17, 1940, at Festina, Iowa. She was the daughter of Norbert and Irma (Schroeder) Schuler. Nancy was raised and educated in the area graduating in the Calmer High School in 1958.

On January 17, 1964 Nancy Jo was united in marriage to Daniel H. Kluesner at Festina, Iowa. Two daughters were born to this union. Together they resided in Manchester since 1972. Nancy worked as secretary at St. Mary Catholic School until she became the Special Education secretary at the West Delaware School District. Daniel died April 28, 2002. Nancy Jo retired shortly after his death.

Nancy Jo will be remembered as one who enjoyed children and was an advocate for children with special needs.

Survivors include her daughters, Kara (Erik) Axter, Denver, Colorado and Lea (Jeffrey)Abel, Manassas, Virginia; three grandchildren, Logan Abel, Jenna Abel and Alexa Axter; Sister, Janet(Allen) Weston, Cedar Falls, and sister-in-law Donna Schuler, Waucoma.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kluesner and infant daughter, Stacey.
