Bluffton- William Keefe, 71, died Tuesday at his home in Bluffton following five years ill health.

Funeral services Friday, Aug. 11, will be conducted by the Rev. George Mahoney at St. Bridget's Catholic church.

Keefe was born Jan. 5, 1879, in Decorah, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Keefe. On Nov. 20, 1890, he married Joan Mailey.

Surviving are his wife and two children, William Patric Keefe, Decorah, and Mrs. Gerald Henry, Ridgeway. Also surviving are his brothers, Richard of Decorah, Frank of Des Moines and Jack of Hammond, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. Mary McConnell, Tacoma, Wash.
