Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. November 29, 1978, for Lula M. Campbell of Decorah at Olson-Fjelstul Funeral Service in Decorah. The Rev. David W. Ash officiated.
Lula Campbell was born near Castalia November 26, 1886 and died November 26, 1978. She lived her entire life in Winneshiek County and was a member of a pioneer family. Her grandfather, Hamilton Campbell, Sr., was the first white settler in Winneshiek County.
She was a member of First Methodist Church, Decorah and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodges.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Abigail Angier Campbell and Hamilton Campbell, Jr., and her brothers John Walter and Albert Ray.
She is survived by a niece Carolyn Jacobson of Phoneix, Arizona.
Pallbearers were Gottlieb Limkemann, Phillip Wander, Verne Koenig, George Bachelder, Harold Martinson and Everett Cook.
Burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Castalia.
