I am posting this obit here because Minnie Rose was part of the Schave clan that lived in Winneshiek County.

MRS. ROSE ANDERSON

Mrs. Rose Anderson, 77, formerly of Bird Island, [Minnesota], died Sunday at Sleepy Eye Hospital where she had been a patient one day.

Service will be held at Clow Funeral Chapel today at 1:30 with interment in the city cemetery at Bird Island. Rev. C. M. Bagaason will officiate.

Casket bearers will be Larry, Bruce and Steven Grafenstein, Dennis and Donald Macklanburg and Edward Ecker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Grafenstein, Danube, and Mrs. Betty Macklanburg, Sleepy Eye; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers Harold and Ivan Schave and Lulu Schave, Minneapolis.

She was born in Iowa September 24, 1898, and married Oscar Anderson in Bird Island August 24, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1946. She had been a Sleepy Eye resident eight years.

I do not know if this came from the Postville Herald or was clipped from a Minnesota paper and sent to my mother for her obituary collection.
