Decorah- Peter J. Diederich, 75, died of cancer Saturday night, Dec. 14, 1996, in his son's home in Cedar Falls. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Flelstul Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gary Krapfl will officiate. Burial: Phelps Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Arlowayne; a daughter, Darlawayne Diederich Jorgensen of Ames; a son, Jim of Cedar Falls; a brother, Alex Jr. of Waterloo; and three sisters, Ruth Wiglien of Ionia, Rosemary Reuter of Waterloo and Betty Baschi of Las Vegas.

(NOTE: Surname Baschi could be Raschi, Easchi, Haschi.
