Decorah- Robert M. Chapman, 60, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, in Winneshiek Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday, First United Methodist Church, by the Rev. James Dale. There will be no visitation. Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; three daughters, Roena of Decorah and Ginger and Lisa; two sons, David and Jim; his mother, Susan of Decorah; a brother, Fred of Janesville, Wis.; and a sister, Roena Wood of Independence, Mo.
