Decorah- Elvin O. "Pete" Finberg, 76, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1993, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First Lutheran Church, where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery. There will be no visitation at Fjelstul Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; a son, Robert of Flemington, N.J.; a daughter, Sharon Wilkinson of Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Oscar of Des Moines; and a sister, Irene Pierce of Decorah.
