Funeral services for Eloise F. Seiler, 82, of Yuma, Ariz., and formerly of Decorah, were held March 19 at 11 a.m. at Decorah Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Seiler died of cancer March 12 in Yuma.

The Rev. Alden Hovda conducted the funeral service. Organist was Diane Kvamme, accompanying Christin Solheim as soloist.

Burial was at the Lutheran Cemetery, with Sensor-French Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Eloise Frances Erickson was born Dec. 21, 1905, in Winneshiek County, the daughter of Ingebert and Christine (Knapstad) Erickson. She attended rural schools of Winneshiek County, and two years at Frankville High School. She was a bookkeeper for the former Ed Haugen Tobacco Store, Ray's Tobacco and Dr. J.J. Blodgett. She was a member of the Decorah Lutheran Church, and an associate member of Faith Lutheran Church of Yuma.

Survivors include two sons, Durwin Haugen of Yuma, Ariz., and Raymond Seiler of Decorah; a step-daughter, Rosemary Moore of Morris, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lyle Erickson of Bella, Vista, Ark., and Donald Erickson of Cresco; and three sisters, Dorothy Hagen of Manitowoc, Wis., Gertrude Solheim of Yuma, Ariz., and Arla Lyon of Decorah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Helmer Haugen and Clyde Seiler; an adopted son, Vernon Haugen; a step-son, Harry Seiler; and one brother, Edwin Erickson.
