Mevin Sharp

Mervin "Curt" Sharp, 83, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at the Innsbruk Health Care Center, New Brighton, Minn.

Services were Friday, Dec. 10 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel in Coon Rapids, Minn.

Burial was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Blaine, Minn.

Curt Sharp was born Sept. 4, 1921 in Decorah, the son of Walter and Emma (Erickson) Sharp.

He served his country as a Navy PT boat radioman during World War II in the Mediterranean Theatre.

Curt Sharp worked for Honeywell in Minneapolis for 2 years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Anne; children Steven (Stephanie); Scott (Laura); Randy (Keri); Sue Jordan (Kevin); 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Sharp (Innsbruk Health Care Center).

Mervin "Curt" Sharp was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond, and a sister, Edna (Edwin) Roed.
