Grace M. Bronner, age 85 of Decorah died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Wellington Place in Decorah. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28 at the First Congregational Church in Cresco. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco is assisting the family. Grace Marie was born March 16, 1928 in Lime Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Nels and Marie (Simonsen) Larsen. She graduated from Lime Springs High School. On April 28, 1946 she married Clarence Bronner in Cresco. She and her husband had a dairy and crop farm for 27 years and she worked at Deco Products in Decorah for 34 years. Grace was a member of the Cresco Saddle Club, the Zion United Methodist Church of Granger. Grace enjoyed quilting, horses, playing cards, dominos and checkers and making banana bread. Grace is survived by four children; Kathy Bronner of Harvard, IL, Pamela Bronner of Decorah, IA, Cindy Bronner of Solon, IA and Mark Bronner of Cresco, IA; one grandson, Derek Bronner of Chicago, IL; a foster son, Danny Schwasinger of West Allis, WI; two siblings: Shirley Tucillo of New York, NY and Albert (Genevive) Larson of Edgar, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Bronner; three brothers: Dick, Harry and Nels Larsen; and one sister, Edna Mae Crow.
