Julie C. Boots, age 97, of Decorah, IA, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Barthell O.E.S. Home in Decorah.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove, MN with Rev. Allen Hermeier officiating. Inurnment will be in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will one hour before the service at the church on the day of the service.

Julie is survived by her children and their spouses: John and Justine (Julie) Boots of Ogema, MN, Linda and Owen Christianson of Decorah, IA, Norma and Harley Refsal of Decorah, IA, Paul Boots and Katryn Gabrielson of N. Yarmouth, ME; grandchildren: Jennifer Boots-Marshall, Peter Christianson, Carl Refsal, Mary-Catherine Boots-Sacra, Rebekah Christianson Fonkert, Martin Refsal, Christopher Boots and Anna Boots; five great-grandchildren: Joel and Owen Marshall, Gus and Jens Fonkert, and Alice Sacra. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, numerous grand nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
