Tuesday of last week John Cavanaugh died at his home in Ossian of Bright's disease. He had many friends here and they with Father Clune went to Ossian last Friday to attend the funeral. John was about thirty-five years old and had been in the employ of the C.M. & St. P. for a good many years.
