Tribune Paid Mrs. Hanson
(Canoe Correspondence)

This community was very much grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Sam Hanson.
She had a nature we could not help loving, A heart that was pure as gold.
And to those who knew her and loved her.
Her memory will never grow cold.
She did not fail to do her best:
her heart was true and tender.
She worked hard for those she left and ever will be remembered.
The Sweetest memories are all we have left of our dear Friend who has gone to rest. (Friends)
