Louis Hanson passed away at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. W.H. Holmes, after an illness of three months with pleurisy. Complications set in and his health gradually failed.
Louis Hanson was born in Decorah Feb. 16, 1871 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Hanson. In 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss May Burdick. To this union was born a daughter, Violet, who preceded him in death. His wife also passed away many years ago. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. W.B. Coup of this city.
Mr. Hanson's life was spent in Decorah and he had made many friends who mourn his death. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Holmes home and at the United Lutheran Church. Rev. O. Glesne officiating. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
