Postville Herald, Friday, 13 December 1918.

Mrs. Mary Lang, who has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Heins, died Wednesday from complications developing from the flu. She was born in Germany and was over 81 years old. The funeral will be held at the Centennial church today, and interment in the cemetery close by.

NOTE: Find A Grave web site lists her as Marie J. (Gipp) Lange 3-8-1837 / 12-11-1918, buried in Centennial cemetery, Winneshiek Co., Iowa. There are family photos, a gravestone photo and a complete obituary.
