Funeral services held Tuesday for Mrs. Myrah, 81

Mrs. Ingvald Myrah, 81, of 601 Decorah Ave, died December 17 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Paul Christenson Tuesday, Dec. 19 at First Lutheran Church where she was a member. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Orville Wermager, Harry Haugen, Norman Boe, George Knoke, Harold Erickson and Dale Johnson. Mrs William Kuhlman was organist and accompanied the congregation as they sang hymns. Arrangements were made by Steine Funeral Home.

As Gurina Lukken, Mrs. Myrah was born June 8, 1897 in Dorchester, Ia., the daughter of Andrew and Christine Lukken. She attended Bergen School in Allamakee County and married Ingvald A. Myrah in services at her family home Nov. 20, 1919.

Mrs. Myrah had lived in Austin, Minn., Rockford, Ill., Chicago and Northlake, Ill. before returning to Decorah in 1969.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Truman Myrah of Northlake, Ill.; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two brothers, Thorsten Lukken, Decorah and Melvin Lukken, Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alfred.
