Mrs. Gena Hanson - Lucken died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Martha Hanson, corner of Broadway and Winnebago streets on Monday, March 5 of Typhoid Fever. Mrs. Lucken was born and grew to womanhood in this city and was married several years ago to J.O. Lucken and has resided for the past year at Stillwater, Minn., where her husband has been engaged with Mr. Olson, the contractor on construction work. A sad feature is that her little boy, who has been ill for several weeks, died the following day of tuberculosis. The funeral will be today from the Synod Lutheran Church.

Two Deaths in One Family

On Monday last after an illness of several weeks from typhoid fever, Mrs. J.O. Lucken died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Martha Hanson, opposite the United Lutheran church. The day following her little son died from tuberculosis, thus bringing a double grief to their relatives. Mrs. Lucken was born and grew up in Decorah where she married J.O. Lucken. For a year past they have resided at Stillwater. Mr. Lucken being an employee of O.H. Olson, the contractor who built the court house. The Funeral was held yesterday morning at the First Lutheran church, the remains being interred in the Lutheran cemetery.
