MRS. JULIA P. LIEN DIES

Julia P. Lien, wife of Ole P. Lien, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1920, at 11 a.m. at her home in Pleasant twp. Death was due to pneumonia. It came after an illness of one week.

Julia Ellingson was born in Pleasant twp., 57 years ago. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Ellingson.

In 1885 she was married to Ole P. Lien, the marriage taking place at her parental home. To this union 10 children were born. Of these seven survive, Ida Sorenson, Roy, Albert, Rene, Otto, Henry and Melvin. The deceased's husband also survives.

Mrs. Lien lived seven years in Nebraska. With that exception her life was spent in Winneshiek county.

The deceased's father died 15 years ago. Her mother and nine brothers and two sisters survive. The funeral is being held this afternoon, Rev. K. Seehuus officiating. Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery.
