Charles Moore Dies At 65

Funeral services for Charles H. Moore were held Tuesday, September 25 at Steine Funeral Home. Mr. Moore died Saturday, September 22 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital at the age of 65.

Burial was at the Phelps Cemetery. Pastor Alden H. Hovda conducted final rites. Pallbearers were Robert Jewell, John Cronin, Myles Henry, Harold Cronin, James Henry and Ray O'Brien. Organist was Mrs. Otto Ruen.

Funeral arrangements were made by Steine Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore is survived by one brother, Richard Moore, Philadelphia, Pa.; and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. E. Wallace, San Antonio, Tex. and Mrs. Harold Gosse of Santa Anna, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Moore, and one sister.

Mr. Moore was born in Burns, Wyoming on October 31, 1907. He attended rural schools and Decorah High School.

Mr. Moore had been engaged in farming in Winneshiek County for many years.
