I. H. DeGraff, Ossian's well known elevator man, was found dead in a chair in his office a little before noon last Monday, death resulting from cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. DeGraff had been an Ossian resident 42 years and in all that time had enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him or had business dealings with him, for he was a four-square man. He was aged 72 years. He was buried last Thursday with Masonic honors, and every business place in town and the public schools closed to pay tribute to his memory.
