Edward Trudo died at ten o'clock Monday forenoon, January 29, 1923, at the home of his son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Trudo of West Union. Had he lived one day longer he would have been 79 years of age. His wife died 28 years ago, and for the past few years he had made his home with his son Wyman. Mr. Trudo was born in Ontario, Canada, January 30, 1844.

The funeral was held last Wednesday forenoon from the Wyman Trudo home, conducted by Rev. Dr. W. L. Alexander, following which the remains were taken to Postville for interment.

The deceased is survived by the following children: Wyman Trudo of West Union; Ormus Trudo of Gunder; Mrs. Glen Moon of Mason City; Mrs. Nellie Conley of Postville; Joe Trudo of Faith S.D.; Alex Trudo of Mason City; Mrs. Andrew Schuler of Postville; and Roy Trudo of Rapid City, S.D. There are also thirty-two grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
