Postville Review, Sat., 1 Apr. 1893.

Helmer Johnson, a lad fifteen years old was instantly killed by an engine in the Calmar yards last Sunday. He climbed on the rear of the tender of the engine, which backed up and he lost his hold, falling on the track, the wheels crushing his head. He was one of the popcorn venders at the depot. We expect a similar accident in Postville some of these days.
