Theodore, the nine year old son of Matthew Rodenkirch, living in Bloomfield township, Winneshiek county, died March ( date blurred). the result of blood poisoning. He had a sore foot which seemed to heal and later wore a pair of ill-fitting shoes which irritated the old wound and blood poisoning resulted.
