GEORGE ESTEY KILLED.

News reached here early this week of the death of Geo. Estey at his home in Genoa, Arkansas, where he has resided for a number of years past. It seems he was engaged in blasting work along the levee at Garland City, that state, and on Saturday last an explosion of dynamite so injured a foot that amputation of that member was resorted to, from the shock of which he did not recover and his death followed Sunday. He was born in Bloomfield township, Winneshiek county, Jan. 13, 1861, and for years resided in the Moneek vicinity, and had a wide acquaintance thru out this section.
