DIED- Mrs. Cynthia Bachelder died at Des Moines, Iowa, May 11th, 1896, in the 66th year of her age.
The remains were brought to Castalia and interred last Sabbath by the side of her husband, Rev. E. Harper conducting the services. Most of her married life was spent at Castalia. Being well and favorably known there a large congregation attended the funeral. Eight children and a husband had gone before her, and three, Mrs. Mary Thornton, of Des Moines, Will and John P., of Castalia, yet remain. She was a worthy member of the U.B. church for many years. A good woman has gone from us.
