Mrs. Nancy Blue, wife of Peter Blue, died at her home four miles north of Castalia, Aug. 30th, 1873. Her sickness was scarcely thought serious until the announcement of her death came, bearing sorrow and sadness to the hearts of many friends. The esteem in which she was held and the sympathy felt toward the bereaved family were well manifested by the large number of mourning friends who attended her funeral and followed her remains to the tomb. She was aged 42 years, 10 months and 2 days, a great part of which time was spent in the community of her death.
