SAD ACCIDENT.
A child of Louis Linderbaum, near Moneek, met with an accident last Thursday afternoon that caused her death the following night. The boy was running a binder, and in some way his little sister, 2 1/2 years old, got in front of the sickle unobserved, and one of her limbs was nearly cut off at the knee. Doctors were summoned immediately but could do nothing to resusitate her and she died at 11 o'clock. It is an extreemly sad case, and is still another warning to use the most extreme care around these machines, and see that no small children are allowed in the field at all.
The funeral was held at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 1 o'clock on Saturday, and was largely attended by sympathizing neighbors and friends.
