Mrs. Anna Snyder

Mrs. Anna Snyder, 92, died late Thursday night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shileny west of Spillville. Mrs. Snyder, the former Anna Leeble was one of Spillville’s oldest residents and was born in Czechoslovakia in March, 1853 and came to the United States when she was a year and a half old. The family settled at Spillville, where she was married to Anton Snyder, who died in 1923 and a daughter, Anna, also preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ruth, and Mrs. Emma Shileny, by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church. Rev. Jos. Badura celebrated the requiem mass. Burial was beside her husband in St. Wenceslaus cemetery,
