Funeral services for John Johnson, 64, who passed away at his home in Calmar township on Sunday, May 14, were held Tuesday morning at the Iverson funeral parolrs{sp} in Decorah. Interment was in Phelps cemetery, Decorah. John C. Johnson, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris Johnson was born on the Johnson homestead in Calmar township, Sept. 15, 1880, where he lived all his life. He leaves to mourn his departure, three sisters, Ann, Christina and Mrs. Julia Johnson (Rola, Mo.,) and one brother, Alfred.
