Funeral services for Joseph Becvar, 77, were held Tuesday morning at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church at 9 o’clock and was conducted by his pastor, Rev. Joseph Badura. Mr. Becvar lived most of his life in Conover, Ia., and died at Iowa City Saturday morning. He is survived by two sons, George Becvar of West Union and Jos. Becvar of Conover. Interment was made in the church cemetery beside his wife, who died several years ago. One brother, Jake Becvar, died about a year ago.
