Funeral services for Mrs. Aagaat Tveter, who passed away Friday at her home in Madison twp., after a number of weeks illness, were held at the Madison Lutheran church Monday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

At the services David Quill sang the hymn “The Great White Host” by Greig. The pallbearers were Carl Hovden, Nels Blekeberg, Teddy Blekeberg, Philip Knutson, Orville Knutson and Amund Blekeberg.

Mrs. Aagatt Tveter was born on Feb. 23, 1862 and died Aug. 2, 1940. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blekeberg and was baptised{sp} by the late Rev. V. Koren and was confirmed by Rev. N. Brandt in the Madison congregation where she grew to womanhood.

May 31, 1883, she was united in marriage to Ole J. Tveter. There were no children born to this union.

Aug. 6, 1933, Mr. and Mrs. Tveter celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Tveter’s husband preceded her in death 3 years ago. She was always a faithful member of the Madison congregation. She leaves to mourn her departure, two sisters, Mrs. Hans A. Halverson and Mrs. K. P. Knutson, both of Madison township. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Tveter died on the same homestead where she was born. Much sympathy is extended to the many friends and relatives who mourn her departure.
