Funeral services for Martin Tveter, who passed away Saturday after a lingering illness of two years, will be held at the undertaking parlors at Decorah at 1:00 o’clock and at the Madison Lutheran church at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon with the pastor Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Martin Tveter, son of Holvor and Thea Tveter was born in Brandvold Solor, Norway on June 1, 1869. He was baptized and confirmed in Norway and in 1890 came to this country and to Winneshiek county. On June 21, 1910 he was united in marriage to Miss Marit Hamre at the home of his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Ole Tveter in Madison twp. With the exception of five years, which they spent in Colorado, they have made their home on his uncle’s farm in Madison township. Mr. Tveter is survived by his wife and two children, Esther (Mrs. Don Stoddard) of Decorah and Louis at home. Much sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and host of friends who mourn his departure.

Ridgeway, Ia., - -Special: Funeral services for Martin Tveter were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Madison Lutheran Church with the Rev. M. B. Quill officiating.
Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
Casket bearers were: C. C. Qualley, Knute Hamre, Oluf Hamre, Carl Hovden, Amond and Nels Biekeberg.
At the services, the choir sang, “Nearer My God to Thee’, The Rev. Haugland of Fargo, N. D. sang a solo.
