Theodore Gullickson
Funeral services for Theo. Gullickson, who passed away at his home here early Tuesday morning were held at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o’clock at the Lincoln Lutheran church Thursday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Music was furnished by the Lincoln choir and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Ole Rue, Holver Rue, Thos. Sime, Gunder Holverson, John Bakken and Steen Johnson, acted as pall bearers.
Theo. Gullickson was born Nov. 5, 1868, son of Gullick and Aasa Mogen. He grew to manhood on his father’s farm a mile west of Ridgeway. June 28, 1893, he was united in marriage with Tilda Rue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole L. Rue of Ridgeway. They purchased the Mogen farm and lived there until they retired and moved to Ridgeway where he has been a resident for the past 17 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lincoln Lutheran church where he continued his membership throughout his life.
He leaves to mourn his passing his widow and five daughters, Alice (Mrs. Anton J. Brekke), Grace (Mrs. Ole J. Brekke, both of West Fargo, N. D.; Olive (Mrs. Orlando T. Sime) of Ridgeway, Bessie of Charles City and Ruby at home. There are five grandchildren: Muriel, Donald Wayne and Doris Jean, children of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Brekke and Ethel Frances and Alan Theodore, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Brekke. He is survived by one brother, Alfred Gullickson of Cartwright, N. D., and two sisters, Miss Julia Gullickson and Mrs. C. A. Jacobson, both of Alexander, N. D.
Mr. Gullickson was a highly esteemed citizen. He will be sadly missed by his family, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
