Services held for Marie Ryan, 84.

Funeral services for Marie H. Ryan were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Nativity Catholic Church in Harmony, MN with interment in State Line Cemetery, Harmony. The Rev. Steve Peterson officiated. Pallbearers were: Joe Ryan, Don Lewis, Mark Ryan, Ryan Lewis, Matthew Ryan, and Michael Broadwater. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Marie, 84, died Sunday, June 3, 2001 at the Regional Health Services of Howard County.

Marie H. Ryan was born May 7, 1917 in Fremont Township, Winneshiek County, the daughter of Ole O. and Sophia (Kyseth) Pederson.

On March 4, 1946, she married Donald W. Ryan at Canton, MN and they farmed until their retirement.

She is survived by two sons: David of Stewartville, MN and John of Harmony; two daughters: Carol Lewis of Cresco and Joan Broadwater of Winona, MN; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Donald on March 10, 1978 and her brothers and sisters: Carl, Selmer, Martin, Oliver, Bennie, Albert, Merlin, Ruth Scrabeck, Louise Austenson, Wilma Anderson, and Selma Jacobson
