Betty Henry, 65, services held

Betty A. Henry, 65, of Waterloo, died May 31, at Bartels Lutheran Home of Waverly, from complications of leukemia.

Services were held June 3, at the St. Edward Catholic Church in Waterloo, with entombment in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. O’Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born February 26, 1932, in Fort Atkinson, daughter of Joseph and Mary Shores Kupka. She married Donald J. Henry on May 26, 1948, in Cresco.

Betty was a manager with Tupperware in the Waterloo area for 17 years.

Survivors are: her husband; a son, Michael of Waterloo; two daughters, Marcia O’Brien of Waterloo and Jaculin Thompson of Southlake, TX; six grandchildren; a brother, Ervin Kupka of Cresco; and a sister, Adeline Houdek of Cresco.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Cedar Valley Hospice.
