Services held for Katherine Hemann

Funeral services for Katherine Marie Hemann were held at 2 p.m. October 8, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Lyle with Rev. Barb Finley-Shea officiating. Interment was in Woodbury Cemetery in rural Lyle, MN. Pall bearers were Leonard Zeller, Richard Hemann, Duane Hemann, Norman Hemann, Larry Hemann, and Larry Heimer. Worlein Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Katherine, 43, died Monday, October 5, 1998 at Rochester Methodist Hospital following a three year battle with leukemia.

She was born August 31, 1955 in Decorah, the daughter of Myron and Gladys (Zeller) Riste. She married Dennis Hemann October 19, 1973 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cresco.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Hemann; one son, Joshua Hemann; one daughter, Heidi Hemann; her father Myron Riste; her mother, Gladys Riste; her twin sister, Kathleen Wirt; and two brothers: Steve Riste and Todd Riste.
