Funeral services for Miss Theodora Thompson, who passed away here early Wednesday {May 4} morning, were held Saturday afternoon, at the house at 2 o'clock and at the United Lutheran church at 2:30. The pastor, Rev. H. M. Normann officiated and burial was made in the United Lutheran cemetery. Pall bearers were six nephews, Richard, Oscar, Benjamin, Nels, Otto and Albert Thompson. Junice, Geneva and Mabel Thompson were flower girls. Theodora N. Thompson was born in Madison Township, a daughter of Nels and Ingeborg Shipley Thompson on Feb. 9, 1870, and was confirmed in the Madison church by Rev. Wolfsberg on May 10, 1885. She grew to young womanhood at her home and later became housekeeper for the Magnus brothers, Charles and Lewis. She is survived by one brother, Ben Thompson of Ridgeway, her stepmother, Mrs. Nels Thompson of Ridgeway, two half-brothers, Carl Thompson of Preston and Alfred Thompson of Ridgeway and one half-sister, Lenora Thompson. One brother, Tom Thompson preceded her in death a few years ago in South Dakota.
