Funeral services for Helen Meyer 44, who died Tuesday evening Apr. 15, at the Decorah hospital were held Friday morning at 9:30 o’clock at St. Wenceslaus church, Rev. J. P. Chihak conducted the services and preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pall bearers were: Jerome Wagner, Jas. Sihacek Jr., and four nephews, Edward and Lloyd Herold, Elias Novak and Alvin Klimesh, The deceased who had been ill for many years, was one who possessed a kind and happy disposition and was always very grateful for any kindness shown her during her illness. Besides her bereaved mother Mrs. Rose Klimesh, five sisters survive: Mrs. (Mary) C. C. Conlee, Cook, Neb.; Mrs. (Rose) George Huber, Mrs. (Emma) John Fisher, Mrs. (Stella) Ben Novak, and Mrs. (Louise) Edward Herold, all of the Spillville vicinity. A brother, John Klimish preceded her in death many years ago. Besides relatives and friends from the neighboring towns attending the funeral were Chas. Pochobradsky, Cedar Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Harold, Lime Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Novak of near Cresco.

Spillville- Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Meyer, 42, will be held here Friday morning at St. Wenseclaus Church with the Rev. John Chihak, assistant pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Meyer died Tuesday night at the Decorah Hospital following a lingering illness.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Klimesh; five sisters, Mrs. C. C. Conley of Cook, Neb., and Mrs. George Huber, Mrs. John Fisher, Mrs. Ben Novak, and Mrs. Edd. Herold, all of this vicinity.

A brother preceded her in death several years ago.
