Mrs. Frieda Nali Dies At Decorah Wednesday.

The sorry news reached Postville this morning by telephone that Freida Nali, daughter of Mrs. John Schultz, passed away at her home in Decorah last evening, her demise bringing to a close a protracted period of failing health. The sympathy of many friends will be with the afflicted family. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Mrs. Magnus Nali Dies At Her Decorah Home.

Mrs. Magnus Nali of this city passed away Wednesday evening, July 17, after an illness extending over a period of three months.

The deceased was born December 13, 1887, at Heltoerp, Mecklenburg - Schwerin, Germany. She became an orphan at an early age and was brought to the United States by her brother, Henry Wolter of Luana, and she was adopted by and uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz of Postville.

On April 27, 1915, she was uited to Magnus Nali. Three children were born to this union, one of whom passed away in infancy. The family home was in Decorah for the past ten years.
Those left to mourn are the bereaved husband, two sons and her foster mother, Mrs. John Schultz; a brother, Henry Wolter of Luana, and two sisters in Germany.

The deceased was a woman beloved by many friends and she was highly esteemed, and all extend much sympathy to the bereaved ones in their loss.

The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the United Lutheran church. Rev. O. Glesne officiated and interment was made in the cemetery at Postville.

Those from away in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Hellickson, Spring Valley, Minn.; Mrs. Jauert and Miss Jauert of Luverne, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nelson and Mrs. Edwin Olson of Clermont. -- Decorah Public Opinion.

Many friends from Postville, where the deceased lived for many years, attended the funeral of this splendid christian woman, who held a large place in the hearts of all who enjoyed the pleasure of her acquaintance.
