Mrs. Ernest Bigler Passes At Decorah.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Topel and family were at Decorah Monday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Topel's sister, Mrs. Bigler, who passed away at the Decorah hospital, July 4th, 1929, being exactly 52 years of age. She was, before her marriage, Miss Elizabeth Schrader. On October 30, 1897, she was united in marriage with Ernest Bigler. Their union was blessed with eight children, one daughter and one son preceding her in death. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Ernest Bigler; six sons -- Elmer, Lester, Harvey, Roy, George and Walter, only one of the sons being married; two brothers, Arthur and Edward Schroeder of Postville; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Schrader of Postville and Mrs. Will Topel of Monona; and one granddaughter, Ethel Bigler. The funeral was held in the church at Locust, Iowa, and interment was made in the Postville cemetery.
