Rites held for Myrtle Bolson, former resident

Miss Myrtle Bolson, a former Decorah resident, died Saturday, Dec. 17 in Minneapolis at the age of 81.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at Canoe Ridge Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerhard Anderson, Irvin Kimber, Ransome Bolson, Wallace Halverson, Vernon Spilde and Arthur Brynsaas. Arrangements were made by Albin Funeral Home in Minneapolis.

Myrtle Bolson was born January 20, 1896 in Glenwood Township where she attended rural schools.

She had lived in Decorah, Williston, N.D. and Minneapolis. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.
