Mr. Hendrickson Dies at Age 67; Rites Are Today

Funeral services for Leonard C. Hendrickson, of Lanesboro, Minn. are being held today (Tuesday, Aug. 22) at 2 p.m.at the Canoe Ridge Lutheran Church. The Rev. I.C. Gronneberg will conduct final rites at the church and burial in Canoe Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Hendrickson, a farm laborer who had lived in Winneshiek County and Fillmore County, Minn. most of his life, died in the Harmony Hospital August 19. He was 67 years of age.

Pallbearers are Tillman Ellingson, Mervin Ellingson, Mervin Hill, John Hendrickson, Earl Faldet and Roy Halverson. Mrs. M.O.Faldet will be organist. Arrangements are being made by Steine Funeral Home.

Mr. Hendrickson is survived by a brother, Olaf Hendrickson, and a sister, Mrs. Harris Ellingson, both of Decorah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Julia Hendrickson, and a sister and a brother.

Mr. Hendrickson was born December 6, 1904 in Pleasant Township where he attended rural schools. He was a member of Canoe Ridge Lutheran Church. He had lived the past several years in Lanesboro.
