Mrs. M. Thompson Buried Wednesday

Mrs. Matt Thompson, 97, died at her home Sunday, November 30. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 3, at 1:30 at the Fjelstud home and 2:30 at Springwater Lutheran church. The Rev. M.A. Egge officiated.

Pallbearers were Roger Thompson, Marvin Sande, Leonard Thompson, Luther Thompson, and Harold Thompson, all grandsons.

Mrs. Thompson was born May 1, 1850,in Norway. She married Matt Thompson April 12, 1874, in Norway. They came to his contry in 1885.

Surviving children are six sons, Louis, John, Ole, Helmer and Benart, all of Decorah and Thorwald of Spring Valley, Minn. and one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Sande, of Decorah. Three sons and two daughters are dead.
