Ingerbert Sande Died on Sunday

Funeral Services Will Be Held On Sunday in Springwater Church.

Ingerbert Sande, lifetime resident of Pleasant township, died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Theodore Berg, in Pleasant township after an illness of five days with dropsy. Mr. Sande who was 75 years old, was the father of Alder Sande, of Decorah, proprietor of Sande's cafe.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. in the Springwater church with the Rev. O. Glesne officiating. Earlier services will be held in the Fjelstul funeral home at 1:30 P.M. Burial will be in the Springwater cemetery.

Ingerbert Sande was born Jan. 18, 1862 in Pleasant township, a son of Martha and Jordan Sande. He was married to Miss Sarah Thompson in Decorah Nov. 5, 1896 and to this union seven children were born, all of whom survive: Alder, Selmer, Ben and Marvin, all of Decorah, Levi of Waukon, Amanda (Mrs. Theodore Berg) of Pleasant township, and Harris of Missouri.

He is also survived by his wife, two brothers, Lewis and Elias, and one sister, Marie.

Mr. Sande operated a lumber saw mill in Pleasant township for many years and was well known by a multitude of friends who regret to learn of his death. The deepest sympathy is extended the bereaved family.
