Sharon was born March 19, 1945 in Spring Grove, Minnesota to Jeremiah and Alma (Quandahl) Osmundson. She graduated from high school and received a Registered Nursing degree. On June 17, 1967 she married Tom Schumacher at Big Canoe Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife and mother.

Sharon passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester at the age of 65.

Sharon is survived by her husband Tom; six children David, Catherine Steiner, Mark, Michael, James, and Christina; and five grandchildren Breanna Steiner, Jacob, Grant, Ava, and Loren Schumacher.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, November16 at the Highland Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove with the Reverend David Andreae officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Highland Lutheran Church.
